Iperius Backup is flexible backup software that can backup your files and folder to a local destination, a network share or to a remote FTP server. The program support complete or incremental backups to NAS, USB, RDX and any other mass storage devices. Iperius Backup offers all the standard backup features, including complete or incremental backups, FTP upload (and download!), email notifications, schedule backups, optional ZIP compression and AES encryption, and more. Other features include and option to create a complete drive image backup of your C drive (and other drives), chaining of multiple backup jobs, automatic network authentication, support for ZIP64 compression, run-as-service and backup logs. Despite the impressive array features, the Home Premium version lacks some essential features like support for backup of files that are in use, folder backup for entire drives and support for US time formats for scheduling. The files-in-use backup is available in other editions, but it will cost you more than twice the price of the Home Premium edition. Iperius Backup initially installs as "Free" version with a very limited feature set. You can enable the trial from within the application, which will then activate all features. Beware though that some of the advanced features like SQL backup, Tape backup and Cloud backup are only available in higher priced editions.
